AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official release, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Extra Material
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana together with multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Third Free Story Update
This release also brings the game's latest free story content, titled "The Enigma."
